Yes, we ran an old-school, analogue raffle once. We printed tickets, copied out numbers, stood with our kids on the corner hawking one for $2, three for $5. We’ve all fished around for cash to buy 50/50 tickets at hockey games, and entered Dream Home lotteries, keeping our fingers crossed for the win.
And through it all we thought, “Wow. This could be easier.”
All the details — numbers, addresses, licensing, sales, winners and reports — that fundraisers had to keep track of seemed to be a huge distraction and time-suck.
What parents, volunteers, employees, advancement teams, fundraising departments and professional fundraisers have lots of are good ideas and passion. What you don’t have enough of is time and IT expertise.
So we came up with the solutions and became one of the first online fundraising platforms in the world dedicated to streamlining raffle ticket sales, management and reporting for fundraising specialists.
